A beautiful wall clock that combines the fine texture of wood and paper. Thomson Paper has a clock face made of an unique design paper called Mermaid, named after the ripples of the sea, the home of the mermaid. Gentle, pleasant, and with superb choice of color, designer Yuichi Nara creates a three-dimensional numbers on the Thomson Paper's clock face using the iconic Thomson die-cutting machine, used to manufacture puzzles. The edges of the number outlines stamped out are naturally rounded like a tensed water surface and drop soft shadows into the spaces stamped out. Part of the Lemnos Plywood core collection.

I love the way this sconce looks. However, the quality doesn’t match up to the price. The glass didn’t fit over the brass base of the light assembly, but luckily the brass piece was not attached. In addition, there is a plastic screw-on piece that holds the glass in place, but it’s impossible to put on unless you have a certain tool, but it wasn’t included and I didn’t have anything on hand that would work. I was not blown away by the quality of these sconces...the glass shade appears to have a chip in the corner, the very obvious (supposedly decorative) brass screws are dark and tarnished, not bright brass as in the photos, where the glass meets the back plate there is a very unsightly piece of white tape (I guess to protect the back plate??) The item is made of steel, for the money I would expect solid brass. My client and I plan to return.
