I love the way this sconce looks. However, the quality doesn’t match up to the price. The glass didn’t fit over the brass base of the light assembly, but luckily the brass piece was not attached. In addition, there is a plastic screw-on piece that holds the glass in place, but it’s impossible to put on unless you have a certain tool, but it wasn’t included and I didn’t have anything on hand that would work. Julian Rys’s portrait of Tadeusz Kościuszko presents the Polish-born engineer and military leader with a sense of restrained dignity, emphasizing intellect and resolve over battlefield drama, a fitting tribute to a man whose greatest weapons were strategy and principle. Kościuszko played a crucial role in the American Revolutionary War as a military engineer, designing and strengthening key fortifications, most famously at West Point, whose defensive layout he helped make nearly impenetrable and which later became the U.S. Military Academy. His field works in the Saratoga campaign contributed to the American victory that persuaded France to formally back the revolution, a turning point in the war. Great! this has adjustable arm but it really isn't adjustable but comes with one pole to attach so it is either one size or the other. Which if you think about it where was it going to adjust to - i guess it could have slidden within itself but then when you extended it would be smaller.
