i have to admit i had no idea what to expect. Truly i just thought these would be some cheap light weight metal brackets. they were delivered very quickly. I went to pick up the box off the patio... again, thinking these were probably some cheap light weight metal brackets, but the box was heavy! quite heavy. I brought them in and pulled them out of the box and was very surprised and pleased at the weight and quality of these brackets. We had spent a lot of money on a large under mount hand hammered copper metal sink and i was concerned about the weight of the sink being carried by just the cabinet. i found these online and took a shot at them. very stout piece of metal and nice construction. It is named for a beautiful African flowering plant that is also known as the sugarbush. The sugarbush has a distinctive shape that is portrayed here with gently curving hammered arms topped by delicate blossoms, all finished in a rich bronze Manchester finish hand-painted by artisans. I was not blown away by the quality of these sconces...the glass shade appears to have a chip in the corner, the very obvious (supposedly decorative) brass screws are dark and tarnished, not bright brass as in the photos, where the glass meets the back plate there is a very unsightly piece of white tape (I guess to protect the back plate??) The item is made of steel, for the money I would expect solid brass. My client and I plan to return. Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? You can use it with almost any hanging light! I think I might just install these in the whole house.
