Pretty straight forward and easy to install. My husband (who isn't too handy) was able to do it himself. It is very heavy so two people may be needed since it's 110lbs. The gold matches my daughter bathroom and it looks beautiful. The back is shorter than our last one but it's good since my four year old is able to teach the buttons by herself. The lid is soft closing so no more slamming of the cover. Feels great and looks just as clean and sleek. **Amazing toilet and outstanding customer service** Our toilet unfortunately arrived damaged, but both Wayfair and the manufacturer, Casta Diva, worked quickly to get a new one shipped. The manufacturer even called personally to confirm that the replacement arrived safely and in good condition, which really impressed me. I have never had a manufacturer reach out like that before. I know it sounds kind of silly to gush over a toilet, but this thing is amazing. We just moved into a new house and are replacing the toilets, so we found this at the perfect time. We are actually going to paint and update the water closet first out of respect for this amazing toilet! The features are wonderful, the wider heated seat is comfortable, and the smart functions make it feel like a true luxury upgrade. Amazing product and some of the best customer service I have experienced. Definitely recommend and totally worth the money. My only suggestion is to verify that the toilet will fit based on where the toilet drain opening is (the hole in the floor underneath the toilet), as well as your plumbing setup. Our plumbing came up from the floor and was too close to the drain opening, so we had to move it out of the way for the base of this new and amazing toilet to fit properly. Seriously, who knew a toilet could make me so happy? I go up 3 floors and pass 3 other bathrooms on my way up just to use this one on the top floor. Great quality and attractive bidet. We had a plumber install this and electrician set up the outlet for this. The heated seat is much appreciated, as well as the drying feature. The night light is a great feature, to be able to find the commode at night without turning the light on and fully waking us up helps. The foam shield requires a product that was not included with the commode. The only feature that we are not impressed with is the volume of the flush. The site says silent flush but it is actually very loud, enough to wake your spouse at night. I appreciate the flush feature being in the front instead of on the side like others have.. Jacqueline. Very tight tolerances, to install, but absolutely stunning. We have taken one star off because the water pressure on the bidet is not as strong as we are used to, but it still does the job. I’m a huge fan of smart toilets! This toilet has a Small footprint which was perfect for our small bathroom. It was tricky to install due to the small space but it turned out great. I love the heated seat and wash the has but haven’t used all the great features yet. Instructions didn’t specify you have to remove the top part by snapping it off - lift the seat and where the middle notches are you can start lifting it. That’s how you add the nuts.
