I wanted a non-stick griddle that would be good for eggs or pancakes. I know these types of teflon non-stick pans are being fazed out for ceramic non-stick. I just received this a few days ago and have used it on the grill to make pork tenderloin and hamburgers. They were delicious and the griddle worked perfectly. I did use marinate with molasses ingredient which was hard to get off griddle but with extra effort it did come off. I will get a lot of use out of this griddle. I love this cast iron grill! I looked at just about every cast iron grill available because I specifically wanted a grill that would fit on my middle gas burner while still allowing access to my other 4 burners.
