Personally love this gazebo! My must haves were to have both curtains and screen panels and to have netting at the top. Fit our sectional dining table easily. We have also hung lights perimeter which was easy with the plastic loops on the corners of the roof! It was fairly easy to put together though my husband is very handy. Only thing that was a little difficult was getting the canopy on the center posts once 34 were on, the last was extremely tight. But I’d rather have that than it be loose and come off! I purchased this to extend our usable space on our patio. It took 2 people about 5 hours in the Texas heat to put this together. We did have some experience with this type of assembly so that helped streamline things. It definitely needs to be anchored, but once it is the awning is quite stable. The good: We bought the 14x10 and it is heavy duty. I haven't fixed it to my deck yet, but I doubt that would even be necessary because it's heavy and sturdy. It gets 4 stars because I'm confident it will serve its purpose for a long time. The bad: I can't give it 5 stars because assembly was difficult, even with 2 people in their 30s. It took us a total of around 10-12 hours over a few days. When assembling the large/heavy support beams, you will probably need to have some kind of supporting table or shelf to lean them on (or have a person hold a large piece while someone affixes it to another) to prevent bending. You'll also need at least one step ladder and a Phillips head screwdriver, which the description fails to mention and isn't included. Better than expected. Seems to be well made. I hired a construction guy/friend to assemble it. He brought two employees, and it took a day and a half to assemble. I have only had it up for a month, and it hasn't been through any harsh weather. I will report if it becomes an issue. It looks great, and all of our Wayfair furniture fits under it and around our gas firepit. Nice addition. It is a good value. Yes, it is expensive, but the quality is good.
