The Prime-Line F 2858 Cam Action Window Lock replaces or upgrades the sash lock on single and double hung vinyl windows. This small window latch is constructed from diecast and comes finished in classic bronze. Mounting hardware included. A Phillips head screwdriver is required for installation. The window latch replacement features a cam action hook which draws the classic bronze sash lock keeper tight when locked. The body of the prime-line window latch has anti-jimmy studs which engage the keeper of the window lock replacement. For further dimensional information, please see the line drawing.

These types of locking devices are surface-mounted and do not require any mortise pockets to be drilled into the door panel edge. All systems are keyed-alike, and spare keys are available upon special order. Keyed different are not available. These locksets are for use on interior doors only, but they cannot be mounted on doors with pre-bored holes for modern-day door knobs.
