READ THIS FIRST! I can’t believe that none of the reviewers of this item mentioned that you have to peel the film off of every piece of this case! When I opened the box and saw that the pieces were dull and opaque and not crystal clear like the description says, I was just about to close the box up and send it back. Then I noticed a small corner of one of the pieces was peeling, so I pulled on it. There underneath the film is a crystal clear acrylic shelf! There is a film on BOTH sides of each piece, and it’s quite difficult to scrape a corner off big enough to get a grip on the film. And it’s a tedious process to peel ALL of those pieces, but it’s well worth the final outcome! It’s a beautiful, sturdy, very spacious, crystal clear display case. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because the doors don’t close securely- they just swing back & forth loosely. Also FYI- the little rubber bands go around all of the tabs on the outside once the case is assembled. This is perfect for my rock collection and well worth the price. Cj. Cortez, CO.
