I like the set. Looks good on my countertop but most importantly very functional. As I've read in another review, I have a few knife scars, but it doesn't interfere with the functionality. If I were recording myself whipping up meals to share online, I'd probably avoid using these; since I'm not that talented, I have zero issues with the marks - adds character. The finish is not peeling and I don't feel that food safety is an issue as the cuts aren't deep and no visible fragments are getting into my food (should that happen I'd discard immediately). This product is harder to find, it did come in dirty so had to hand clean each unit, 3 out of the 50 units per defective and the magnet that came with the product is not retail user friendly. I had a spare one with handle and it worked so much better. The basic brick style magnet took some play to get unit to unlock. It does the trick but overall quality not as good as I expected.
