The glass overhanging the counter is a great feature add too. Downsides: it was very frustrating to install this extremely heavy appliance just to set it up and see that they offered little spacers for the tiny gaps in the back--I didn't get to use them because I would've had to pull the range out again completely. I sticker saying "stop! Before install install spacers" would've been nice! Having a baking drawer like kitchenaid offers would be awesome instead of just a warming drawer on the bottom. And lastly. The inverter option is great for any place with short winters for the same reason noted above, no furnace needed! I heat up a room for the cold hours of the night and that’s it. The remote control is a must, but it works great with the thermostat so I just set the temperature I like and that’s it! The room stays at a comfortable temperature. My husband was able to do most of the installation. It was relatively easy to install the unit on the wall with parts that are included, we only had a certified electrician do the the connection and final install of the unit. This window ac unit does everything it should. Its small but mighty. I have it in a smaller bedroom and it cools it down very quickly! The lowest temp is 61 as a timer and all the basic features that a window unit usually comes with. You can turn the display off the lights in the display with the remote or you can leave it on. The display is very clear to read. I know its more of a personal preference, but I like how the remote is kind of bulky and a nice size. I always lose smaller things so I appreciate the size of the remote. The installation is what you would expect with any window AC unit. Nothing special. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far my window unit is running at 70° Eco and turns off when it reaches that temperature. I did buy an air purifier filter and received it yesterday so I’m reading the directions to see how to put it in. My first time booking something like this up and it took about one hour. Used youtube to help put it together. It’s very heavy so I recommend using a bucket to hold it up.
