These are really nice stools. We purchased four. The first one took about a hour to put together, but once I was sure of how to do it, the remaining three went pretty quick. I noted that one prior reviewer mentioned that these stools were not very solid (rickety). We did NOT find this to be the case - they are very solid. You just have to properly tighten the screws. We picked the brown color and it looks great in person. The chair is stylish, comfortable, and feels well made for the price. My only complaint is that the oversized plastic glides on the base are quite bulky and raise the frame off the floor more than expected. As a result, the seat feels slightly reclined/backward compared to what I’d expect from this style of chair - might consider removing.
