You have to lean on the back to make the back tilt 2. Hard to see on the stock picture, but the cilindar connecting the chair to the wheel platform actually prochudes towards ground. Its tip is very closed to the ground and it will hit the ground if you have a carpet underneath. Things I regret 1. I wish I bought the version which has seat tilting 2. The chair felt very comfortable and the lumbar support is helping my back to not get so stiff after sitting down for sometime.
