i’m so glad i found this. i measured the base of our kitchen sink at least 30 times before i decided on this size and fortunately, there was 1 available from an “open box.” i got it literally for half price and it fits perfectly. the only danger is that the “open box” items are non refundable which is why i measured and remeasured and remeasured. the grate came with extra bumper guards and leg caps in black and clear. this is a very well made item. when i was researching them, i was also checking the weight of them items and i deducted that the heavier the weight, the better the construction. i was right. highly recommend!. Simply push the shower drain down to the threaded adapter or rubber gasket (either of them, not both). The threaded adapter adjusts the height (1'' max) of the floor drain to accommodate the floor level. Please use proper cement mix if connecting PVC pipe. Not recommended for use with a "hot-mop" membrane.

I bought 2 of these for my rough-in on my master bathroom. They seem to be working as intended.
