These curtains are lovely. There is a sheen to the curtains and they are more sheer than semi-sheer, at least the white curtains are, which is what I wanted. They are beautiful curtains and look great against my grey accent wall. For my patio door, I used four panels, which actually hides the sheerness of the curtains, but still allows plenty of light through. I only have 2 panels on the family room window, but I plan on buying another set, as I like the fuller look. Then 1 panel for each living room window. As I mentioned in a previous review, I’ve never shopped for curtains before and was trying to elevate the look of my windows. Since it was my living room, I wanted something rich in texture offering an upscale look and these popped up. The color really sold me because I wanted to color block the room in shades of gray allowing the tone to travel up the wall to the ceiling. Made of 72% Polyester, 23% Cotton, 5% Rayon, textured for a linen-look with some light-filtering opacity sounded good and they really delivered. Plus, they are very well-made, so I highly recommend this collection. My only regret, I should have done a more careful search because they were less expensive elsewhere.
