Recommend keeping an extra cutting mat on hand if you’re intending to use your cutter regularly. Rag dies tend to wear out the cutting mats much more frequently due to the number of blades. Prolong the life of your cutting mats by alternating the sides each time, so you’re not cutting in the same spot every time. Replace mat when cutting performance of die is reduced or mat shows excessive wear. Do not use warped mats.

I wasnt sure about these when I first opened the packages. The smell was so strong that I had to put them in the wash immediately (watch out for crazy amounts of fuzz from the chenille!). The pattern is also printed on, not embroidered, and I thought it might look tacky. They came out of the wash pretty wrinkled even though I took them out right away, and the instructions say not to iron. And after all that - I really love them!
