This is a very well built range hood. Plenty of power for clearing smoke from frying and steam from hot pots. Reduction of odors from the kitchen while cooking are noticeable! Light is plenty bright and even on the highest setting, fan noise is not objectionable. Black stainless color blends well with other similar colored appliances in our kitchen from GE, Samsung, and KitchenAid. Only concerns are that you absolutely should inspect both the box and appliance prior to installation. Ours arrived with a large and noticeable dent in the hood that could not be repaired. Wayfair support was helpful swapping this. Carefully inspected the new unit prior to installation. No issues. Note this does not come with a 110v cord. If your installation is using a 110v outlet for power, you will need to purchase a grounded appliance cord separately. Note that photos were taken with light on brightest setting. It single handily was my sous-chef for prepping and making Thanksgiving dinner, along with many other meals. Its multiple settings include slow cook like a standard crock pot, sauté/sear which I found myself using mostly, rice cooker, sous vide, meal timer/manual function which is also helpful. I’ve made couscous, rice and multiple chicken dinners, seared veggies, made stock and kept my mashed potatoes warm while I finished Thanksgiving dinner. This machine has a lot of power and functionality while looking quite professional and high end. My only complaint is the size/weight of it, with all that power and functions come parts to hoist and overall it’s a bit large for simply keeping out on my counter so I keep it tucked away. Without having proper space for this machine I can see it being hard to keep around, luckily I have the room. The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. Nice piece, but it's really more of an institutional item and assumes that you are replacing an existing urinal or have framing in place to accommodate an install. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports. A few years ago we moved into a 55+ community in central Florida and it came with a wimpy little gas cooktop that by moving my heated pan, I melted one of the knobs. I couldn't take that, so I ordered the Fotile 30" 5-burner cooktop with that magnificent central tri-ring burner for my wok and have absolutely loved it ever since. I really like the placement of the burners and the additional griddle and wok ring. What I want to do now is get a replacement tri-ring burner.
