I've been very impressed with the FOTILE 30" Slant Vent range hood. It’s extremely efficient at removing smoke and cooking odors, much more powerful than standard models. Despite its strong suction (up to 1100 CFM), it operates surprisingly quietly, which is a big plus in an open kitchen. The touchless control feature is also a standout. You can turn it on or off just by waving your hand, which is super convenient when your hands are messy from cooking. For my small space, 7 x 9, with a tall ceiling, I’m very happy with this small air con. I’ve noticed it’s cooled down my shed office and made it more bearable, both during the day and night. The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet. My system is split to a dedicated faucet and my 2 refrigerator's, ice makers and water dispensers. Water taste good, no issues. I did have to add a small pressure tank to keep the system from cycling multiple times when the ice maker was being filled or the water was being dispensed from the refrigerators. The refrigerators back pressure causes the RO system to shut off prematurely. With the added small waterdrop PWT ( pressure water tank) the system no longer Cycles and the pressure of the water coming out, has increased a small amount. The number of times per day the system comes on has also decreased because of the PWT. The system is not loud but noticeable. The reviews I've seen mainly complain about noise from the system. Which it's not my experience. Again, adding the PWT also reduces the numbem cycles the system runs per day. The system was easy to put in. Only pre-requirement is a dedicated electrical outlet under the sink. I split my power from my dishwasher. I ran my electrical line from the dishwasher under my cabinet into a dedicated dual Outlet. This range hood is very nice looking. Assembly was easy. It took a little time to remove the protective plastic from the surfaces, but still well worth it.
