Just having to have emergency hamstring reattachment surgery to where I was laid up in bed for almost 6 weeks I was so afraid that I wouldn't be comfortable and not be able to get any rest to heal. That couldn't have been further from the truth. This mattress is firm and holds my body. I don't "sink in" like foam mattresses. It has just enough give in the padding on the very top so that you know you're not laying on " a board". I can only be comfortable being on firm mattresses and this is extremely helpful to my back and to my recovery for my hamstring. I wouldn't give this mattress up if God himself asked me for it. Blanco makes the best stainless steel sinks. This sink is very roomy and beautiful. If you buy a stainless steel sink it MUST have sound dampening. He says it is very comfortable, gives great support and he likes that the mattress isn't firm but on the softer side. This mattress is used when we have guest as well. My mom slept on it and she gave her stamp of approval. Believe me when I say that my Mom would let me know if she didn't like it. My dad has also slept on it a few times and he also likes it but would of liked a more firmer mattresses (he is strange). Overall it is a very good mattress.
