Pretty straight forward and easy to install. My husband (who isn't too handy) was able to do it himself. It is very heavy so two people may be needed since it's 110lbs. The gold matches my daughter bathroom and it looks beautiful. The back is shorter than our last one but it's good since my four year old is able to teach the buttons by herself. The lid is soft closing so no more slamming of the cover. Feels great and looks just as clean and sleek. Good!!! I ordered two of these large medicine cabinets to replace the mirrors that hung over our two opposing sink areas. My husband got them installed in record time! He was able to fully recess the first one into the wall. But, due to a surprise construction element inside the wall on the other side, he was only able to sink the cabinet about an inch into the wall. This was NOT an issue with the cabinet. Our house was built in the early 1980's, and apparently the builders were oblivious to the fact that a future homeowner just might want to put a recessed medicine cabinet in that spot over the vanity sink.
