Beautifully designed vanity! The only drawback to this particular piece is that the company does not have the vanity top to go with it. You will need to have a vanity top made special for this vanity. I didn't know this until after I had purchased it and thought I could order another beautiful vanity top to retro fit onto this vanity. It didn't work :(. So, the vanity and the vanity top I purchased from Wayfair didn't fair well for me due to this problem. Otherwise, it would have been a beautiful ensemble in my bathroom. Also, the retro fit vanity top with this vanity base didn't accommodate for the use of the beautiful faucet I purchased. It wouldn't allow the faucet to have full power or range of movement; because it brought the faucet too close to the edge of the unit and the wall. Too bad! Designed after an English antique, this high-quality mahogany inlaid console makes elaborate use of high-quality inlays. Drawing inspiration in design from the famous English cabinet maker console is narrow enough to be used in a front entrance and wide enough to fill up a lot of wall space. The mahogany top is banded with satinwood, the four legs at the apron have oval fan-shaped inlays and there are cascading bellflower satinwood inlays to the fronts of the legs which themselves are made from solid mahogany and end in a spade foot style. This mahogany inlaid console table is the perfect size for use in a front hallway as it is quite narrow and does not protrude far into the room.
