Love this window seat. It took about 5 minutes to assemble, it's very sturdy and the materials are nice quality. The cushion is thick and medium firm plush if that makes any sense. I love this couch! Beautiful design element and made with good quality. I’m 5’4 and find the dimensions very comfortable even though the back of the couch is short. I will say though, that my friends over 6 feet tall may be slightly less comfortable with the low back rest. Also, my only qualm with this couch is that the attachments allowing you to hook the two pieces together were screwed in slightly off, making the couch unlevel when they’re hooked to each other. So, once together is it sturdy and very comfortable. It took me about 2 hours to basically put 6 pieces together -- the directions were not great, but clearly I figured it out. And while it is heavy, I built it where I wanted it so all I had to do was tip it up after everything was attached. The seat depth is great and the cushions are substantial...just like the picture, you do not sink into them as with many of these products. The only thing I would change, is the back rest which would be more comfortable several inches higher. The description on site said it would be 28 inches high but is only 23 inches high.
