It’s a nice thickness (not ultra thin and cheap feeling), it is luxuriously SOFT on the faux fur side, and even the Sherpa side (which isn’t my personal favorite) is quite soft compared to some Sherpa’s. It is well-made with no loose threads or stitching, and I love the beautiful rich grey! I am sorry I can’t show photos right now with it literally on my bed, but it is heading toward Summer here in the Midwest, and so we literally just changed out our Winter bedding. The only reason I took “a part” of that 5th star off is price. If you shop around, you can find good brands with great deals at nearly half the price. That said, even without a sale, the price for this blanket isn’t horrible. My husband grew up sleeping on Mexican fur blankets #iykyk so getting him used to a proper fitted and top sheet was not easy. Hubby approves of this blanket he says its even softer than expected.
