It really cools, but with most air conditioners it cycles between cooling and just blowing air. Temperature goes down to 60, and the air is really cold when it's cycling. It has a remote control which is super convenient if you're using this in your bedroom and dont want to get out of bed to adjust the temperature. It can also connect to wifi which is a good added feature. It's surprisingly compact and doesn't take up much space. This is my second attempt at buying/using an ice maker. The first time I never worked and that’s bc it was a very poorly ventilated mobile home in Florida and the heat was too much. Now, I’m in a ‘regular’ home and thought I’d give it another’s try with this model and low and behold, this thing cranks out the ice non-stop and you don’t need to stand their while it’s doing it but it helps bc you do want to put the ice in your freezer - I used a metal mixing bowl and filled it to the top in mere minutes. It’s very easy to use, just pour water in, plug it in and about 9 cubes every 6 minutes as it states is true. I’m very pleased and I would whole-heartedly recommend this product fully.. Dean.
