This is my second attempt at buying/using an ice maker. The first time I never worked and that’s bc it was a very poorly ventilated mobile home in Florida and the heat was too much. Now, I’m in a ‘regular’ home and thought I’d give it another’s try with this model and low and behold, this thing cranks out the ice non-stop and you don’t need to stand their while it’s doing it but it helps bc you do want to put the ice in your freezer - I used a metal mixing bowl and filled it to the top in mere minutes. The hot water temperature is ≥ 194°F while the cold water dispenser is ≦ 46.4°F. Each 6-minute ice-making cycle produces 12 blocks of ice cubes. This fast ice-making dispenser also has a 4 lb ice storage capacity. The operation control is also easy and intuitive with indicating lights to inform you of the water shortage or ice-full states.
