This is my second attempt at buying/using an ice maker. The first time I never worked and that’s bc it was a very poorly ventilated mobile home in Florida and the heat was too much. Now, I’m in a ‘regular’ home and thought I’d give it another’s try with this model and low and behold, this thing cranks out the ice non-stop and you don’t need to stand their while it’s doing it but it helps bc you do want to put the ice in your freezer - I used a metal mixing bowl and filled it to the top in mere minutes. It’s very easy to use, just pour water in, plug it in and about 9 cubes every 6 minutes as it states is true. I’m very pleased and I would whole-heartedly recommend this product fully.. Dean. So only used it twice as it was delivered 2 days ago. The dishes came out spotless. I'm still experimenting with how much detergent to use as the instructions say "a moderate amount." I think 1-1/2 Tablespoons will be about right. It fits nicely on my very small counter space next to the sink. I have a quick connect adapter with a diverter for the kitchen faucet for an easy water source although I could also fill the water tank as an alternative and this machine automatically detects which water source you chose. So far I'm very happy with this countertop diswhasher. It's perfect for one or 2 people. The run time is an hour with an additional hour for drying so I turn it on at night when I'm done with the sink or just before bed. It's perfect for my senior downsizing life.
