The set arrived in 2 different packages on separate days. The chair arrived first and was incredibly easy to put together. My son did it in less than 30 minutes, without really reading the instructions. It is super comfortable and my son loved the back massager on it. He said his favorite part of the chair is the leg rest, although, I don't think it is really sturdy. Also, there was something on the velcro...and it did not look like styrofoam. The desk is really nice and I love that the top is a COMPLETE mouse pad! My only complaints are that the desk did not even and there were some scrape marks on the legs. My son loves it for gaming!. I decided to buy the chair because it is made for gamers. I do not play games but I sit for hours without getting up, and my back is bad so sitting for any length of time is difficult.
