This solar lamp is lovely, but it would be perfect if it were manufactured with a heavier-weight material because I am worried about it getting blown over on a windy day. If you have a protected outdoor space, it should stay put, our outdoor spaces are uncovered. It comes with a base that you screw on under the light fixture, you screw in a total of 15 short metal pieces, no tools needed, and it was easy to put together. I have tried it in a few indoor spaces as well and was thrilled that it lit up and stays bright until morning! I love it so much, I am going to use it indoors.
