Fairly easy to build. I did it all on my own, took about 12hrs however I took several breaks and I was building 2 of these desks. Everything was labeled VERY well and instructions were easy to follow (my only complaint was that in 2 sections it makes a point to say particular holes are “facing out”, but the illustration has them facing in). This is a pretty decent, small form pc desk. I probably should have got the large sized one. The packaging was perfect, no damage, and everything was there. Its a sturdy design, my only negative comment is in regard to the lower rear right side shelf. It was implied it was a shelf for your pc case to sit on. I have an old style full tower case that does not comfortably sit on this shelf without hanging over the edge. I made it work, but it needs to be like 50% larger to accommodate the newer 2 compartment style cases. Other than that, I like it. Looks good, sturdy build, no defects. This feels bigger in our space than it looked in the picture, but I actually really love it. I was worried because some reviews describe this as a child's desk. I bought the 63" version, and it's very nice as a simple adult-sized desk. The cloth drawers are plenty nice (and especially well suited to a craft room). I had no difficulty assembling this item mostly by myself, and I am an older woman with a physical disability (in my fifties with a movement disorder). I only needed a second person's help for turning the whole unit upright after assembly. The instructions are honestly the best I've ever encountered for DIY furniture, quite clear and easy to follow. The hardware is immaculately laid out in labeled pouches (with a spare of each main screw type included). I'm delighted with this product. It is a narrow desk, yet can easily accommodate a 32" computer monitor and keyboard. If you have cats, be aware that they can quickly tear apart the end-mounted book/magazine holder (as I found out on day one!) and fabric-sided drawers. I got this desk to update my daughters play area, as seen from pictures. You can't see the desk, but it's there. It's a good size, not too big and not too small and the colors are as described on the webpage. Assembly was normal for this type of desk. Drawers slide well and hold a decent amount of precious small things. I like how the shelves are accessible from both sides rather than having a back (see other pic). I did pick up the desk to move it and snapped the top part off....very jankily kept together, so if you move it...use two people and be mindful where you grab cus that top desk part will blow off in a mild sneezing fit.
