This is a great upgrade to my old ice maker that finally kicked the bucket. It keeps the ice flowing at a reasonable rate that you never feel low on ice at any given time. It does take a few minutes to figure its life out when you first plug in and add water, so make sure you’re patient. But once it goes it’s perfect. It hasnt really been that hot in Michigan yet. I purchased this air conditioner in May. Fast forward to June and the temperature is over 90°, this air conditioner just did not perform as I had hoped. I definitely agree with thought this air conditioner was what was advertised. I have always wanted to try a portable air conditioner. I should have thought it through because i had a 10000 BTU window unit that kept our room cool. I just got the microwave so this is not yet a long term purchase. However it arrived packed well and easy to put on the counter. It was, however, heavy so my sister helped me.
