Got it for my moms apartment. It works great. Definitely for a small area. It blows out cool air right away. I would make sure to clean and keep up on cleaning the water tank and the rest of the unit. It starts getting worse after a week. It does the job and it is easy to move around because of the wheels. I just got it today, it’s working great so far, my Insulin was taking over my fridge,so I needed to step up, it’s much smaller than I thought it was going to be. So here’s my big problem, why I didn’t give 5- stars. When I put it in my Basement on a table it would not stay cold no matter what temperature I had it on. I should have thought it through because i had a 10000 BTU window unit that kept our room cool. This little window AC is a power unit.  We purchased it for my husbands shop he is building and tried it out in our garage and it works great.
