I am so happy with how this turned out. It is the perfect size for my 20 pound Chihuahua mix. He is very strong and has escaped wire and plastic crates before. I think I received a returned item. The crate did not unfold as per instructions, it was in pieces the hinges were broken bent it’s like someone tried to put it together butchered it sent it back. UPDATE I had an amazing experience with customer service. They immediately promptly issued a replacement fedex came picked up the damaged one. I think these get damaged in transport easily because the new one was almost perfect, it just had a dent in the corner, for which I was offered another replacement but instead I asked for a credit back to which Wayfair agreed to. This dog crate is the best thing I’ve ever bought for my two puppies they can play init Ican separate them. It’s just wonderful. It’s so easy to clean. I spread paper in the tray and when the tray when the paper is dirty, I just pull it out take the paper away wipe it down or wash it and I’m done. I advise anyone that has more than one dog. A couple of times, I had to flip or reorient pieces differently than shown in the manual in order to properly align the parts and screw in the rings. If you’re assembling it on your own, I recommend taking your time and double-checking each step before fully tightening everything. Once assembled, I’m very pleased with the finished product. My large-breed dog fits comfortably inside, and the crate feels solid and well-built for everyday use. This is a great piece! It was a little bit of a challenge to put together (I mixed a few steps up). Between my husband and I we figured it out though. Great Pyrenees puppy (7 mos old) for size reference. It fits her comfortably. It has several options like a spinning foodwater dish (we didn’t install the food bowls because the baby would eat the dog food). But conceptually it’s nice to be able to crate and feed as needed. It also has three sides that open including an attractive sliding door and two ends that fully open. As you can see, the top serves as a changing station for us but could have multiple uses. Great crate! We have a 180 pound cane Corsa that has occasional anxiety issues when his people family leave him. On our previous wire crates, his pushing actually bent the wire and warped the door so badly we needed to replace it. This crate is STRONG and there is no way our dog, despite his strength, can bend the bars. It is slightly narrower than our other wire crates, but he easily turns around in it. It was very easy to assemble, but it did take two people to hold parts still so that the hardware went in straight. I love the wheels! I can reposition the crate easily even with him in it. If you have puppies, the door on top would be a great way to get them in without running out of the front door. Note that if you put the wheels in place, the dog will need to step up into the crate 5 inches. If your dog has mobility issues, Id keep the crate on the floor to avoid the step up. Doors open smoothly and are wide enough to let even very large dogs inside with ease. This was expensive, but way cheaper in the long run as it was our second wire crate that he destroyed! Love it! It looks so much nicer than our old wire kennel. Our dog is 60 lb (shepherd but on the shorter side) and our other 25 lb and they can both cuddle in it.
