I am so excited for this mini split unit. Getting a new central air conditioner is just not in the cards right now. This is a very affordable price for the amount of ac and heat that you are getting. Things of note, we had to buy a specialty drill bit to be able to install the units properly. We live in a brick house and needed to be able to drill through the brick. The lines that connect from outside to inside need about a 2 inch diameter hole to pass through. We also decided to buy a rack so that we could hang the main condenser above the ground. I just got it today, it’s working great so far, my Insulin was taking over my fridge,so I needed to step up, it’s much smaller than I thought it was going to be. So here’s my big problem, why I didn’t give 5- stars. When I put it in my Basement on a table it would not stay cold no matter what temperature I had it on.
