I really love this gazebo! It was easy to assemble for one person and took about 1.5 hrs. I used it as a chicken coop run extension for hot days when I’m at work. I lined the sides with logs to deter predators. They used it for the first time today in 80 degree weather and it kept them nice and cool with plenty of ventilation, which gave me piece of mind. It’s not predator proof, but can be fortified with pool fence panels and more. I love the look of the gazebo and it looks professional for what it is. The directions were not bad, but a few sections are not intuitive. I love the locking pole that raises it like other Eagle Peak products, as it’s super easy. Overall, thumbs up. After buying canvas topped gazebos in the past, I finally made a decision to get the aluminum patio gazebo. This is the second one we have purchased, one was a gift and we liked it so much we purchased this for us. it’s incredibly sturdy. I was delighted that the roof has 3 hook areas for lighting, plants or wind chimes. The only thing that I would say to the negative is that it took an inordinate amount of time during setup to peel the protective film off the aluminum top pieces perhaps maybe they could do something more with a different protection that could be easily removed but other than that, we love it.. Awesome 12x20 gazebo. The netting installation was a little confusing at first, but we were able to figure it out. Assembly took father and son approximately 6–7 hours, including breaks, which honestly wasn’t too bad for the size. It would be great if the manufacturer included clearer information about ordering replacement parts in the instructions. So far, the gazebo has held up very well through rain and high winds and feels sturdy once assembled. There were three people putting up the gazebo and it took about five hours. It did fit together very well and instructions are ok. There is a mistake in the manual. There are 8 G1 parts, not 4 which it says on page 10. Also the picture of G1 on page 6 and 10 is incorrect. There are 2 pictures of G1 on page 10 and the other picture is correct. I put the curtains on and we didn’t quite understand how the Velcro tabs should go so that added time. After a few days I took the curtains down as I don’t think we will ever close them. I’m giving this gazebo 4 stars overall. My husband assembled it by himself, and the process took about 4 hours. The most frustrating part was the corner pieces that fit into the frame—the alignment seemed slightly off, making them extremely difficult to get into place correctly. That said, once assembled, I absolutely love the look of it. It feels very sturdy and has been a beautiful addition to our backyard. My biggest complaint is the mosquito netting. The mesh does not fully reach the top of the frame, leaving about a one-inch gap between the curtain and the gazebo where bugs can easily get inside. I’ve been able to reduce the gap somewhat by double-looping the attachment points onto the clips, but that’s not something customers should have to do. I was also missing seven hooks when the gazebo arrived. On a positive note, customer service was excellent. After I contacted them about the issues, they offered to send a replacement frame, canopy, netting, and hooks at no cost. I really appreciated their willingness to make things right and felt that was very generous. At this point, we’re not eager to take the entire gazebo apart since it’s already assembled, but I’ll update my review if we decide to install the replacement parts. Overall, I would recommend this gazebo. It looks great, feels sturdy, and the company stands behind its product. Just don’t expect perfection, and be prepared for a few assembly and fitment issues.. What an amazing purchase! The price was too good to pass up, and the quality exceeded my expectations. It has completely transformed our outdoor space, and we couldn’t be happier with it. Assembly took four people about 6–8 hours to complete, so plan accordingly. One helpful tip: each roof panel has a thin protective plastic film that needs to be removed before installation. I believe it’s there to prevent scratches during shipping. We found that letting the panels sit in the sun for a bit made the film much easier to peel off. Overall, this gazebo is sturdy, attractive, and an excellent value for the money. I would absolutely buy it again and highly recommend it to anyone considering it.
