I love this gazebo! Unfortunately my previous Wayfair gazebo collapsed due to the tremendous amount of snow and ice we received early in January. I should have removed the canopy, but have not been removing it in past years. Id simply go out with a long push broom and gently lift up each section to allow the snow to fall off. This storm was different. Lesson learned. Unfortunately, its tough to buy a canopy that includes the ribbing that holds it together and atop the frame. Wayfairs customer service department used the replacement canopy I had purchased then returned and applied it as a credit to my account. I then quickly found an open box gazebo, that in my opinion is of better quality. I was eager to get it up, despite the windy weather here in Quakertown PA, but its up and anchored to my concrete patio acquiring plants, comfy chairs and tables, garden decor, etc. (mostly everything purchased at Wayfair, of course)!. This is my second time buying this gazebo. I get so many compliments when people come over! The last one ended up getting ruined by a wind storm but I had it for several years and everything was holding up perfectly. The canopy fabric color did not bleach out and the curtains were still perfect. There was zero rust on the frame itself even with our harsh winters. There were three people putting up the gazebo and it took about five hours. It did fit together very well and instructions are ok. There is a mistake in the manual. There are 8 G1 parts, not 4 which it says on page 10. Also the picture of G1 on page 6 and 10 is incorrect. There are 2 pictures of G1 on page 10 and the other picture is correct. I put the curtains on and we didn’t quite understand how the Velcro tabs should go so that added time. After a few days I took the curtains down as I don’t think we will ever close them. Awesome 12x20 gazebo. The netting installation was a little confusing at first, but we were able to figure it out. Assembly took father and son approximately 6–7 hours, including breaks, which honestly wasn’t too bad for the size. It would be great if the manufacturer included clearer information about ordering replacement parts in the instructions. So far, the gazebo has held up very well through rain and high winds and feels sturdy once assembled. After buying canvas topped gazebos in the past, I finally made a decision to get the aluminum patio gazebo. This is the second one we have purchased, one was a gift and we liked it so much we purchased this for us. it’s incredibly sturdy. I was delighted that the roof has 3 hook areas for lighting, plants or wind chimes. The only thing that I would say to the negative is that it took an inordinate amount of time during setup to peel the protective film off the aluminum top pieces perhaps maybe they could do something more with a different protection that could be easily removed but other than that, we love it.. Outdoor time is great, but too much sunshine may ruin it. This gazebo provides you with more shade and an extra layer of UV protection.
