This is a beautiful 100% handcrafted mahogany Riva aquarama model. Painted in the true color of the boat. It take hundreds of hours to build by skillful and creative master craftsmen. Layers of vanishes are applied; the hull is then smoothly sanded between coats to create a mirror effect. This model was built according to scale through original plans, pictures and drawings. Extensive research threw original plans and pictures makes Old Modern Handicrafts model look authentic. My 787 model arrived appearing as it does inside webpage. Was surprised to discover that it required assembly. Not a problem for me, but that was not explained in the description. What was a problem- the tail rudder is connected with pins and the holes on one side for the pins were not drilled as the others were drilled. Again, not a problem for me, as I have an extensive workshop and tools for drilling wood. This would be a problem for many. Wayfair needs to monitor their product quality a little better. These tiny things turn a good purchase into a wish we never bought it!
