I finally got around to installing this exhaust fan to replace one that was almost 30 years old and I’ve got to say that I was really impressed by how simple the process was. There is no way to directly control the light andor fan function directly through a wall switch. You are only able to turn on and off via the remote, which makes this feel incredibly cheap and inconvenient for a guest who may not know how to use the remote. Bought3 fans from this company. The work fine and are quiet. My two problems are 1. I choose the recommended size braised on the manufacturer. I would go larger to increase the air flow. Secondly, is the little tiny control that does not respond immediately. We have the fan on full speed at night but it is a chore to turn light on. The black remote is for the fan of the photo I sent.
