This is a really heavy duty and robust storage shed. It takes a bit to put together, but that may have been because we were assembling it between a tree and our fence-line where there was just barely enough space for the shed. Overall, it was not bad to put together as the assembly process is pretty straightforward. The steel poles are very stout and strong. I really don't see the wind taking this shed anywhere, especially if you stake it down. Plenty of stakes and some concrete anchors are included. There are ratchet straps at all four corners. These straps help to tighten and cinch down the outer cover around the covers for the doors at each end. This aspect is a really nice design as it tightens the cover around the door openings to help keep out the elements. The cover material seems pretty robust and can be tightened down with a lot of tension, so even in heavy winds you won't get any flapping or movement of the cover. We bought this shed for garden tool and supply storage in our backyard. Overall, we have been really pleased with it. Once complete and set up its a decent enclosure. We got it for our chickens and attached the hen house to it, just left off a couple bars and zip tied the entrance right to it. The instructions absolutely suck and we wound up having to unbolt like 200+ connections to double up the gussets. Now, my wife and daughter got the base started and then asked for my help, I never questioned whether or not they started it correctly so perhaps they missed a step. The door is like waist high to my 6’ frame so it’s a definite crouch to get in there. I can stand in between the “roof trusses”. It has a good appearance and I wonder how it will hold up to the AZ monsoon winds. I used spiral drill in anchors to pin it down, no way the little stakes it came with will keep this in our yard in high winds. I am contemplating what to do in a couple years when the top is sun rotted away, there are only a few trusses to make the roofline and while it looks great, it does not take much to push it off level/plumb. To my amazement, this came in three relatively small, but heavy boxes and we were a few nuts and bolts short but they at least give you a spare parts bag, which had enough to complete the build. Be prepared that this comes in literally hundreds of individual pieces so it can look overwhelming, just follow it step by step and comes together rather nicely, be patient nd take your time. It really is an amazing engineering feat to get this big ole enclosure in these three little boxes. Overall, I am pretty happy with it. I wish the top had the same level of structure (aka bars) as the walls so the fabric top can be optional for predators and when it simply rots away but it would be easy enough to just get some netting and/or a shade later.. This is a great carport. The directions for the canvas part was a bit hard to decipher, but otherwise the directions were pretty good. Unwrapping plastic from each roof panel was a bit of a pain, but if you do it on a sunny day outside, the panels will get warm and the plastic will be easier to remove. We just had 3 or 4 of us at a time unwrapping them. I am optimistic that it will last a long time. I just put this up, and it has the most detailed instructions I've ever seen! All of the parts were there, everything numbered, everything fit together real well, I also like how you can take the ends of the shelter off and back on, Ididn't put them on from the beginning but I don't think it's going to be a big deal you just got to go up under the collar that comes around the end to keep weather out when you do have the ends on there. I'm not using the anchoring ropes into the ground, taking one to a tree and the other two into the house. I'll just have to wait and see if it can stand up to South Florida weather. So far so good! Purchased to keep snow off 21ft pontoon. Not quite long enough to keep it all hidden but will add an enclosed extended end and add siding to the rest of the walls. No snow as of yet, but held up well during day long wind storm, it is parked between 2 seacans that are 24' apart. Wind made it move a bit but probably not as much if it had been out in the open. So impressed. Delivered to our door. Parts are extremely well packaged. Instructions are clear and concise. All parts are wrapped and each part is labeled and instructions even tell you which part is in each box. To top it off there is even a video to walk you through the process. Highly recommended this product! Well after working on it for a number of days I am still impressed however. The assembly requires some skill. Especially lining up the metal roofing. Very easy to go off track and have it skew. I finally got so frustrated I called a good friend that was also a retired metal worker. I was very glad to have his help. It is actually a pretty solid car port. high ceilings. I do agree with that one reviewer - if only they made the bolts a couple mm longer, it would make set up so much quicker.
