This wardrobe is very nice looking, with tons of storage space. Perfect for my 1940’s house with tiny closets! I assembled the whole thing by myself and it took about 8 hours total. It coms in 4 sections, so it’s very easy to spread the assembly out over a couple of days. The sections without drawers took about 1.5 hr each, and the sections without drawers were 2.5 hrs each. Really not bad at all considering the size of this thing. This is not heirloom furniture by any means, but it’s sturdy enough for what I need. I do like how the cabinets look. The doors have a soft close, but the drawers do not. Out of the four boxes, one box arrived four days later and it had damaged pieces. The customer service was able to replace the pieces, however, they also arrived four days after they said they would get here. Even the replacement pieces had damaged corners, but they were usable. I was very hesitant to purchase this. For me, this is an expensive item. But I have to say right up front - it was worth it! First things first, you may need the jaws of life to open the packaging. It was that well packed. I’ve literally never seen flat packed furniture so well packed in my life. So there shouldn’t be any worry about it arriving damaged. Second, they said “solid wood” and they meant it. There’s not one piece of mdf in this thing. Literally the only thing I could complain about is the choice of pulls. I don’t like them. But that’s just my taste. There is nothing wrong with them. And they are so easy to replace. At the end of the day, would I buy this again? Yes. Without hesitation. Inside shelf for the shirts is very short and not realistic to actually hang anything as an armoire. Perhaps the top shelf was not added then you could adjust so I’m guessing my handyman is the reason the shirt hangs at the bottom but overall I really like it seems sturdy And it’s cute and the drawers slide really well.
