My 12 year old son and I had no problem assembling this in about an hour. I the wood is not as thick/sturdy as I had hoped. I think it will be excellent for our first 4 chickens. We will have it inside. Covered run with a water proof cover so hopefully it will last a little while. The bottom metal tray seems fragile. I hope it can withstand the weight of 4 chickens. We just finished putting our coop together. All items were in the box and labeled. It was a big task putting it together but instructions were easy to follow. The coop is really nice but light weight. Need to stake into the ground. Our chickens are too young to put in there but are excited for that day. It is a little small for 4 chickens, but it arrived with no damage and was fairly easy to assemble. Took 2 of us less than hour. All timber is T&G plained to avoid splintering. This house is designed with a living room for sleeping, and a pen downstairs. All joints are mortise and tenon. 2 x access doors on both levels. The Spray wire is solid and Non-toxic in case your animals like to chew.
