Installation is quick and simple with the EZ mount brackets and included installation template. Mount on the top (ceiling mount) or side (wall mount). Is too much heat entering your home in those south and west-facing windows? The solution is to install these shades on the exterior side of those windows to block heat and late afternoon sun glare. Less heat means lower cooling costs! Maui (28% open) offers the greatest visibility and airflow. Tropic (15% open) provides good heat and glare blocking while allowing good airflow and visibility. Caribbean and Kona (10% open) provide the best heat and glare control yet still provide a good view.

These blinds seem very well made. I love that you can see through them but still have the shade where you need it. Directions are pretty vague, picture only. It would’ve been nice to have have measurements of where to install brackets. Also upon installation, we did discover that the blinds themselves only measure 94” not the 96” as stated. As it’s getting dark in the evening, and the lights are on in our kitchenfamily room, you can see everything in our home almost as clearly as if the shade were not in place. Also, my home is fully automated with Alexa control. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes. I was happy to find these shades for our patio. Hadn't had much luck except to order custom made at three times the price! I wish these were offered in shorter lengths....96 x 96 is 3 feet longer than the openings on my patio, but we can unroll them to the floor at almost 8 feet, or just leave them at the top of our brick wall and have extra fabric on the roll.
