Made with solid pine wood and engineered wood back panels. Very solid, heavy piece. Smooth black finish. Three front doors have separation in between the slats so you can see inside of it. Middle cabinet shelf has three different heights available. The two outside cabinets only have one height for the shelves. Two outside shelves have rear entry cable management openings. I had trouble with the backpiece fitting into the grooves exactly. Unfortunately, I damaged it trying to make it fit. Otherwise, extremely easy to assemble. Overall we are happy with it for the sale price (50 off) but if I had paid full price I would probably be unsatisfied. The material seems a bit cheap in some spots, there were 3 spots where the wood was slightly chipped and damaged . The listing definitely doesn’t show that the paneling on the legs is actually made of flexible board that velcros on. This can be looked at as a plus because there is additional hidden shelving behind it so we will be using it for extra storage space, but if that would have been shown I’m not sure I would have purchased this as it does look a bit cheap up close. Assembly was somewhat challenging but if you have a decent amount of experience assembling furniture it’s not too bad and it actually does come with extra reinforcement assembly tools such as sliding pads to protect your floors and small wedges to really keep the backing in place. We were looking for something in mixed colors of wood and this provides. The sides, top and legs are black. It provides a ton of storage space.
