That's 25 years of use and dishwasher cleaning. The gumbo style spoon bowl shapes are perfect for soup. I've read several reviews that said the tablespoons were too big to put in your mouth when eating soup. Remember, soup is eaten from the side of the spoon, not shoving the whole spoon in your face.
