The spa panel replacement kit offers an economical way to re-skirt a hot tub with weathered panels. The flexible design and unique built-in flange allow for a quick and simple installation. The Flexible Spa Panel will fit spas that are less than 96″ x 96″ (or 32′) in total length and with a panel height of less than 34.5″. The Flexible Spa Panel can be installed right over your existing skirting! If you choose to remove the skirting, some additional framework will be necessary to reinforce where the panels overlap. The panels have a built-in overlap design, which makes installation easier. To continue access to the spa's equipment panel, we include flange pieces for an access door. More information is provided in our instructions manual. The panels ship in a single carton in 5 separate rolls, with color-matched screws included. The installer will need a circular saw, a string, measuring tape, a drill, and a pencil.

Be prepared for assembly. You'll need the following: spray dish soap for lubrication, a rubber mallet and a phillips-head screwdriver. Fortunately, it's only four screws, the rest is like putting together a Lego set. It just takes some serious pounding with the rubber mallet to get the pieces to go together, and I mean serious pounding. Just fair warning. The dish soap helps to get things going. We got the 150,000BTU heat pump. A little overkill for our 18x33’ pool but I didn’t want to take any chances as our last heater (different brand) had a hard time keeping up. This is a big, heavy heat pump so be prepared to move it and get it in place. Our friend who installs pools came by to check it out and gave a thumbs up. Now we are waiting for our electrician to run a 220 line. He looked over the heat pump and had favorable things to say. Will update my review once it has electricity.
