I like the rug, I’m just ordering it in a different style. I purchased the 5’ Round rug and it wasn’t work with my space like I wanted so I’m looking to return to get a rectangle rug in the same color. The colors give me a faded vibe which I’m not mad at. This is a reproduction of Amos Doolittle's The Engagement at Concord North Bridge,1775, Plate 3. Amos enlisted in the Patriot army, and joined the troops at Cambridge, Mass. just ten days after the Battles of Lexington and Concord. Tagging along with him on the ride to Cambridge was his artist friend Ralph Earl. They both visited the battlefields of Lexington and Concord, and sought out eyewitnesses and minutemen who fought the battles. He asked them what happened, where and when, and then he told Earl what to draw. From Earl’s drawings and the eyewitness accounts he gathered, Amos Doolittle engraved four copper plates of the battle. The first print shows the Battle of Lexington, with Maj. Pitcairn at the head of the regular grenadiers. It also shows the party who first fired on the provincials at Lexington, part of the Provincial company of Lexington and the British regular companies on the road to Concord.

The Global Sai Utility Knife is ideal for cutting corn off the cob, broccoli florets, and more. Global Sai Knives follow the same tradition as Classic Global Knives, made in the same fashion by skilled Japanese craftsmen in Yoshikin's factory in Japan. The handle design is entirely new and incorporates an ergonomic thumb rest to ease the cutting motion. The blades are crafted with a 3-layer construction using the special Cromova 18 Sanso material, sandwiched between two layers of softer SUS410 stainless steel material. The blades are honed to a fine edge to give a superb cutting performance which helps to protect the blade against chipping, rusting, and staining. A new hammered finish is applied to the sides of the blade that create air pockets, resulting in a better release of food being cut, giving the blade nonstick properties. Handcrafted in Japan using artisanal techniques with modern technology in the tradition of the samurai sword.
