A quick call to a very helpful Wayfair sales rep pointed me in the right direction on which remote was compatible with this specific fan model. The remote was easy to install and it worked like a charm. Fan assembly was easy. We also added a longer (24") down rod (purchased from our local box store) with no issues. Bought3 fans from this company. The work fine and are quiet. My two problems are 1. I choose the recommended size braised on the manufacturer. I would go larger to increase the air flow. Secondly, is the little tiny control that does not respond immediately. We have the fan on full speed at night but it is a chore to turn light on. The black remote is for the fan of the photo I sent. Good fan that looks amazing -- contemporary styling, nice blades, and very low-profile. Easy to install and the remote works with no problems. Moves plenty of air and cranks up high. Things that would make it perfect: (1) it's not loud, but not completely silent like our other DC fan, and (2) I wish its low speed setting was lower.
