This shade arrived within a few days of ordering it. The package was heavy, it is made of very heavy duty material. I chose the grey color and it is a nice light grey, almost blue in daylight. This shade does not come with any hardware for hanging it so that has to be purchased separately. I have put it on a pergola to create some much needed shade on my patio. This shade sail is made of a thick but flexible material that should provide just the right amount of protection from the sun without being a total "sunblock" (or completely waterproof) and the reinforced attachment points on the sail seem sufficiently strong. I haven't yet installed it, but the included kit appears to be very comparable to the separate installation kit I ordered just in case the included kit was flimsier or more difficult to use. This particular brand of sail offered a lot of different size options, which is ideal if you are looking for a sail to fit a space with unequal distances between the triangle points.
