This tarp works great to filter our hot and very bright Arizona sun. We have to very large German Shepards dogs that have a huge pen where they like to relax and play during the day. Half of their pen is shaded with heavy duty tarp. During the hot sunny days they lose half their space. We installed tis tarp on the other half and it works great as an additional shaded area for our furry kids. It really does cut down te heat considerably. This tarp will work for just about any area you want shaded. I wish all our 5 acres were covered in this material. It came in a very balled up package, I am surprised it made it through the mail. The netting is extreamly lightweight and has a little stretch to it.
