It makes a lot stronger and you're not pulling on the fabric when attaching to post or walls. I like a sail that doesn't flop around this one is very easy to mount and it looks great. this is a replacement for an older shade. Found the eyelets to be superior in this Royal unit but have not had time to install but from inspection the stitching is the key. I can tell immediately we will be able to stretch firmer. While the fabric is thiner, it will provide a better solution and the mounting hardware is all there.. Rick. La Quinta Ca. Sun Nov 02 2025
