This rug is a replacement for one I purchased from Wayfair 15 or 20 years ago. It had become slightly worn at the very edge where I sit to read but otherwise was in great condition. Will pass it along to a grandson who is furnishing his new home and hand-me-downs are much appreciated. The new rug (pictured) arrived yesterday and it is perfect. I’m not sure why Wayfair refers to these luncheon-size or salad plates as “chargers.” They are definitely salad-sized plates and pair beautifully with Lenox’s British Colonial dinner plates, both the Bamboo and the Tradewind versions. And they are the perfect choice for this “tropical” time of year, on a table with placemats of woven grasses or faux jungle leaves. The look is reminiscent of India Hicks style in her Bahamas home, set amidst palm trees and in mountainous terrain overlooking blue waters and sailing ships.
