Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult. The light from it does disperse (vs hit the island directly on the bottom) so when you’re sitting down the light can be directly at eye level. Im very pleased with this oil rubbed bronze drain. I was looking for an oil rubbed bronze color drain to match all of my other oil rubbed bronze bathroom fixtures and this fit perfectly.
